Habitat for Humanity is a Christian ministry in which "loving your neighbor" is shown by the act of building a good affordable home — "love in action".

Our 2007 Egg Us On Homowner!
Connie Ammons, the 2007 Egg Us On homeowner, is thrilled to be in her new HFH/MJ home. Even though Connie is single and has no children, she has been supporting her younger sister, Yolanda, and her two small children since her mother’s death in 2006.
When Connie’s mother became terminal, Connie moved back in to her mother’s rented home of 15 years. With a
roof that leaked and outrageous heating and cooling bills, Connie was desperate to find adequate shelter for her family. That is when she applied to become a Habitat homeowner.
Moving into a Habitat home has given Connie and her new extended family a warm, secure, and safe environment —a place where her niece and nephew can grow up to become all that God intends for them to be.
