Mission Statement
Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need by building and renovating houses, so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which every person can experience Gods love and can live and grow into all that God intends.
Habitat for Humanity is:
International
Since 1976, HFHI has built over 350,000 homes and housed more than 1.75 million people in over 90 countries world wide.
National:
There are more than 1700 affiliates in the United States, building in all 50 states.  In 2009, they served over 6,000 families.
Local:
Out of more than 1700 affiliates in the U.S., HFH/MJ ranks in the Top Twenty in number of houses built.  Each affiliate is an independently and locally run non-profit organization.
